Green Lock FC is set to take a giant stride towards its lofty vision by storming into Turkey for a 10-day training tour and signing of partnership agreement with the prestigious Turkish club, Antalyaspor AS
It is an exciting time for both Green Lock FC and Antalyaspor AS as they join forces to nurture the next generation of football stars. On the trip, the Abuja based youth club will play about 4 friendly matches between 17th and 27th of March including games against Antalyaspor’s U17 and U19 teams.
There’s more! Green Lock FC will be signing a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU with Antalyaspor AS. With the agreement, both clubs will share expertise and resources for identification, grooming, and development of talented football players. This partnership will not only benefit the clubs but also provide aspiring players with a fantastic platform to showcase their abilities and pursue their dreams.
During their time in Turkey, Green Lock FC will not only be playing some friendly matches, but they will also have the opportunity to be exposed to the awesome facilities of Antalyaspor AS. And even more exciting: outstanding players from Green Lock FC might just get the chance to sign with Antalyaspor AS or any Turkish teams that are interested in their skills. It promises to be an amazing experience for the team and a big opportunity for them to showcase their talent on an international stage.
Making up the team for the training tour to Turkey are talented players identified by the international scouts earlier this year from Green Lock FC’s premier soccer talent showcase in Bwari, FCT. The players have since been together under the tutelage of the club, contesting 10 friendly encounters and loosing just twice.
Keep an eye out for the incredible talents that will emerge from this collaboration!
