A contingent of Green Lock FC players and management staff have travelled to Antalya, Turkey for a week-long training tour. The team will be welcomed and hosted by top flight club, Antalyaspor AS with a landmark collaboration insight.
Green Lock FC will have a brief stop over in the Turkish vibrant capital of Istanbul before heading out to Antalya on Monday, March 18 for the training tour of the diverse and football loving region that includes friendlies against the youth teams of its host and other clubs.
Straight away on March 19, Antalyaspor AS U17 will present the first challenge to Green Lock FC by 7am local time. It will be back to back Antalyaspor challenge for the young Green Lock FC side as they take on Antalyaspor AS U19, the next day March 20.Other high profile games on the horizon are against MAG Football Club on the 22nd and Antalya 1863 Futbol Kulübü on the 24th.
This opportunity provides the squad with the chance to showcase their talents on the international stage, an opportunity to make progress in their career. Green Lock FC and Antalyaspor AS are also poised to unveil an agreement of their shared values and ideals in talents identification and development, especially from Africa, Nigeria in particular.The team is high spirit and confident of a productive outing in their first foray out away from the shores of Nigeria.
