Players and officials of Green Lock FC have departed the Federal Capital Territory to join 15 other teams to compete in the maiden edition of the NLO Cup which will be played across two different centers, in Kano and Uyo with the final slated for Abuja.

Green Lock FC who recently signed its first set of players in readiness for the commencement of the season have the burning desire to announce their status on the pitch as a club to look out for.

Head Coach, Eedris Bolarinwa while speaking with his boys expressed confidence in the team’s capability, reminding them of their innate ability to subdue every opposition and charged them to be driven by the spirit of conquest and hardwork in their bid to deliver a statement of intent on the pitch.

A team of 20 players and 8 officials led by the Chief Coordinating Executive left the FCT in high spirit and optimism for the competition which begins on Nov 24, with the finals slated for December 9 in the nation’s capital, Abuja.

Green Lock FC is paired with Kwankwasiya FC, FC Sheika, as well as NA Royal FC in group 1B of the NLO Cup cup and will officially kickstart its campaign against NA Royal FC on Friday afternoon, at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano.
