An American scout taking part in the ongoing Green Lock FC’s first premier showcase event, Ronnie Bouemboue has described the exercise to be remarkable and an excellent piece of show.

Bouemboue, an assistant coach in the men’s soccer team, Northern Illinois University in the USA, said the level of work put in by the organizers to ensure the success of the event has been phenomenal.

He said the tactical displays and the technical input from the players and their coaches are highly commendable, underlining how he’s being enthralled by their potentials and vigorous strength.

“We saw a lot of games over the last couple of days, you can see some of the teams are getting a little bit tired but the quality is still there, technically and tactically everybody is very good, it’s been very entertaining especially for the games in matchday 3”

“General performance and the organization of the event is outstanding, I think the organizers have done a great job putting everything together, the program is flowing and moving, the information we need to get is pretty good, so for me I think day 3, of the event so far has been outstanding”

“A lot of potentials we can look at obviously as a scout myself, am looking for some specific areas, maybe two or three players in some positions but am writing all the names for players in other positions for the future, but they’re a lot of potentials here for sure”

Other scouts, Alicia Nicole and Ismail Okunola who are based in the US and in the UK respectively, also addressed all participating teams at the close of Monday’s proceedings, stressing the need for all players to work extra hard in their bid to meet up with the desired requirements.

Twelve matches have been played so far since the start of the showcase on January 5th, four more to be played on Tuesday before the event will climax with the All Stars selected billed for January 10th, 2024, at the Bwari township stadium, Abuja.
