The Federal Capital Territory is buzzing with excitement as young football talents have begun to converge on the Bwari Township Stadium for the highly anticipated Green Lock FC trials.
About a century of talents were part of the first day of the five-day event, as it kicked off on Monday, June 3rd and will run until Friday, June 7th. It offers a platform for players between 17 and 19 years old to showcase their skills and potentially join the ambitious football club.
Green Lock FC, renowned for its commitment to nurturing young talent, has opened its doors to promising players across the country.
The club’s dedication to excellence is further bolstered by the return of Siji Lagunju, a CAF A Licensed Coach and respected mentor, as technical consultant. Coach Lagunju’s expertise has been invaluable in identifying and developing the next generation of football stars.
During the trials, the Green Lock FC technical crew will work closely with the young talents, assessing their skills and potential. The club aims to strengthen its current squad by selecting a few outstanding players from the numerous trialists.
