The Chief Coach of Green Lock FC, Bolarinwa Idris is confident that his boys are ready to excel and prove their quality in this season’s Nationwide League One, Division 1.
The organizers have pitted Green Lock FC against Legacy Stars FC, Beautiful Tour FC, FWC Champions FC, Fire Service FC, Police FC, HYPEBUZZ Football Academy, Bussdor Utd FC, Woodpecker FC, Flight FC, and will play their matches at the Area 3 pitch.
Taking part in the competition for the first time, Idris said his technical crew has been working hard with the talents in the team, preparing them to be ready for the physical, mental, and psychological demands of playing in the league.
And from what he has seen in training and friendly matches, the Green Lock FC chief trainer is convinced the boys are ready for an impressive and memorable showing in the competition.
Idris further praised the management of Green Lock FC for creating an enabling environment to groom the talents, noting that this has helped to keep the players focused on their development.
In preparation for the league, Green Lock FC tested itself against eight proven teams in the FCT winning four, drawing three and losing just ones.
